HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR NILETA

All of our garments are made from 100% silk charmeuse.  We wanted all of our pieces to be washable (aka no trips to the dry cleaners) so we pre-wash all of our fabric by hand before it goes to the factory.  Is it a lot of work?  Yeah it is.  But this step ensures that your garments won't shrink or change shape when you wash them at home.

In order to preserve to sheen and quality, we recommend washing all of your NILETA pieces by hand with cold water and a small amount of detergent.  We suggest using a mild detergent that is free of dyes, or even a detergent meant for silk and delicates. 

As our pieces are made from a natural material that has been dyed, you may experience some color running for the first few washes.  As such, we recommend washing your NILETA pieces separately from any other items to avoid discoloration.

Allow your items to air dry.  Do not machine wash or tumble dry your garments.  Iron (on a low heat setting) or use a steamer in order to keep them looking great.
